Although we currently have thousands of lakes in our library and are adding new lakes daily, we don't have every one. If we are able to locate an underwater survey of your lake's bottom contours, we can create a new map for you for an additional $30.00 design fee. 3D Lake Maps are a unique item for any lake-lover that will be treasured for generations. Each lake is reproduced in Russian Birch, using lasers that precisely engrave the details of the lake and its surrounding shoreline. The underwater depth contours are then cut apart and carefully reassembled, recreating the lake's bottom in 3D, up to eight layers deep. Each map is framed in oak and sealed under glass.
The art is designed using state DNR, fish & wildlife and commercial Bathymetric (underwater) surveys. We currently have over 4,000 U.S. and Canadian lakes in our library, with more being added daily. If you can't find your lake using our "Lake Selection" drop-down button, please feel free to click on the "I Can't Find My Lake" button and we will research the availability of your lake. If we can find a survey for your body of water, we can create new art for a $30 design charge. We can also personalize our existing designs with your family name or the location of your home for a $20 fee. New art and personalization requires an additional week to ten days for design; you will be provided with a proof to approve prior to production.
Typically maps of lakes in our collection take one to two weeks to produce, but plan ahead for holiday purchases as the deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery is the end of November.
